ANDY
SCHUB
Andrew
Schub, our contributing editor is behind again this week so we
will not be hearing from Andy however we think there is still
news you should be aware of and we are listing two important stories
here:
NO
CHILD LEFT UNMEDICATED
by
Phillis
Schlafly [townhall.com]
NO
CHILD LEFT UNMEDICATED
That
is Phillis Schlafly pointing out the fact school age children
in the U.S. are now ALL subject to mandatory pscyhological testing
and mandatory medication -- and that includes preschoolers. Don't
believe us? It's already underway in Illinoise. And if you are
not in Illinoise, never fear, your kids are next. And the numbers
are scary:
"A
Columbia University pilot project of screening students called
TeenScreen resulted in one-third being flagged as "positive" for
mental health problems, and half of those being turned over for
mental health treatment. If this is preview of what would happen
when 52 million public school students are screened, it would
mean hanging a libelous label on 17 million American children
and putting 8 million children into the hands of the psychiatric/pharmaceutical
industry."
SENATE
VOTES TO OPEN ALASKAN OIL DRILLING
by
H. Joseph
Hebert [myway.com]
The
Senate, by a 51-49 vote, rejected an attempt by Democrats and
GOP moderates to remove a refuge drilling provision from next
year's buget. This is the first step in clearing away pesky objections
to drilling the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge -- something Bush
and cronies have been trying to pull off for four years:
SENATE
VOTES TO OPEN ALASKAN OIL DRILLING
Two
oil companies have rejected plans to drill Alaska because, doy,
there's not enough oil in Alaska to make drilling Alaska profitable:
CONOCO
PHILLIPS and BP.
[Good
for you, CONOCO PHILLIPS and BP, we like you and will buy all
our gas from you yay!]
TWO
OIL COMPANIES ARE BACKING DRILLING ALASKA: EXXON
| MOBIL and CHEVRON | TEXACO.
If you would
like to let EXXON | MOBIL and CHEVRON | TEXACO people how much
you do not want to buy gas from companies that drill Alaskan
Wilderness, give them a call:
EXXON
| MOBILE: 972.444.1000
CHEVRON
| TEXACO: 925.842.1000
That
is the news for this week. See you next week, same SkinTheFox
time, same SkinTheFox station. Meantime, send a nice letter to
CheapTickets explaining why we will all be buying out tickets
from TICKET
MASTER from now on.
Love
and Kisses,
The
Editors
