SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

I've been spending a lot of time in the VA hospital, mostly as a guest of the nation, in very small doses as a test subject. We have millions of veterans, thousands of them disabled. There are thousands of things they need. If you think armor is the last the current vets will be cheated out of think again. Send a box of books. Donate an afternoon. Donate several. Do what you need to do to dare someone who says not backing the war is not backing the troops to put their stupid stupid ass where the soldiers are. And then dare them to explain how you can ask for a war you're not willing to pay for in blood. Blood that is dear to you. Not the blood of strangers. Not the blood of someone else --or someone else's children Blood.

VA FACILITIES BY STATE will take you to a map of the US. Click on the state you live in and you will see a list of all VA facilities in your state. Generally speaking the nearest center is the best place to volunteer or contribute but you may find a clinic that's much closer or even in your neighborhood.

The Chicago Center is at Polk and Damen.

The Los Angeles Center is at 11100 Wilshire Blvd. [Wilshire, west of the 405.]

They need all sorts of things. They will never get the funding they need again.
